I guess Bubba winning in Potterville was the beginning of his climb to NASCAR and winning there under the sponsorship of Jenny Easton and Blake Walworth. I enjoy it when Wes throws in these crossovers.

Bubba is perhaps the most interesting bystander in the Spearfish Lake Universe. It's funny how it can be said he got his sponsorship from Jenny Easton due to a snake and lost it because of a harp.

While one of the first two books was being posted, I seem to recall Wes mentioning that there would be another connection between the Bullring series and the Spearfish Lake series. This might have been the case.
