Steve,
Why. I like people's ramblings.
Good to see someone who lives in Germany likes Wes's tales. I, although English through and through, was born in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia. The German equivalent of Sheffield, both cities great at working steel and excellent at making knives etc. Wuppertal also has a great monorail, over a 100 years old, and it still runs on time.

Yeah, I came here to say some of that we well.
It is not quite correct as stated though, Württemberg is half of a state (Baden-Württemberg) and it is the half which does *not* border on France. Baden and Württemberg are traditional rivals-come-enemies but were lumped together after WW2.

I don't have any stake in the theology either, but I have lived in one and often driven past the other one.

I had been up for 30 hours and was not tracking right. I glossed over some of the explination in Wikipedia. I live in Massacheusetts so my knowledge is - academic. Thanks for the info, you never know what can come in handy. Since I am not Lutheran I didn't want anybody to think That I Was Offended by the mistake.
