Personally, the view of the same story from a different pair of eyes, the experience from a different point of view, the recitation from a new 'person' is the power of this series. I not only have no problem with "same story, different viewpoint", I much appreciate it!

I'm looking forward to the book Wes writes about Norma. It's not that every story needs to be independent, but that each character he describes has so much to teach us. Obviously I'm caught believing Norma is another of those great characters.

She and Debbie Elkstalker (most prominently from Square One) together and comparing notes could be a neat story.
