Good grief, Wes!
That sounds like one of THOSE stories, especially after the brief scene with Cody in "Starting Late". What a thing to dump on a high school student!
Looking forward to it, will order when I get home tonight (don't like to do so from work). Looks like it will be another strong candidate for the Wes Boyd new novel rule - "NO reading after mid night"

I'm glad I'm retired so I can stay up as late as I want to and not worry about nodding off at work the next day.

That's exactly why I don't preorder and ask Wes not to send a pdf when I donate. I prefer the anticipation of waiting for the next chapter to obsessively reading through the night - and since one of my stores is closed while we relocate it, that would be far too easy to do!
