As we do!

Our first was a gorgeous Persian Chinchilla which was given to us when he was about 2 yrs old; he was with us until the very ripe old age of 22.

After that, Matinicus - a red maine coon - came to live with us for 17 years. A few months later we realized that we did not want to be catless, and visited a Maine Coon breeder who had 2 female kittens available. We couldn't make up our mind, but the breeder resolved the issue by giving us a very good deal on the pair. They are littermates, but quite different in build and personality, although they are both Tabby color.

One does not 'own' a cat; we are privileged to have them share their lives with us.

"Dogs have masters; Cats have staff".
