G'day,

The common date used for anniversary celebrations is the date of public display. A child is conceived and nurtured for many months until it makes its public début, and this is known as its birthday. the same applies to the creation of new companies, and is thus applicable here, as well.

According to the revision history, the main page was created 3 May 2009, so I'd go with then as the anniversery of the wiki
