Unfortunately, I named Myleigh and wrote about her long before the teenybopper came on the scene. I might have come up with another name otherwise.

I like the name Myleigh, it suits the character and sounds fine.
I just dislike the visual and auditory comparison to the teenyblooper. (I was never enamored by her achy breaky dada's voice either.)

I don't listen to much Country music, but the small circle of friends of mine, when we heard her daddy's song (early '90s?) referred to it as "icky sticky f*rts."
