I was in the Coast Guard between 1964 & 1968. Served briefly on a Bouy Tender and 2 yesrs on a Weather Cutter in the Pacific. Also served a year and a half on a lighthouse. My father served in the Coast Guard during WWII. I would be happy to help any I could. I thoroughly enjoy your books and have read every one except the 2 Bullring books...they are next.

I served from 1967 to 1970. About a year on a tug boat (USCGC Raritan W93 out of Milwaukee, Wi, a year in Vietnam Nam on CG Squadron One, Division 11 and Divison 13 (82 ft. Gunboats). During that time I also worked as the District Damage Controllman. I returned to the Srates and spent my last 16 months at Coast Guard Base Mobile, Al.
I'd be glad to help if my background meets your needs.
