I am re-reading Absent Friend for the umpteenth time. As I navigate my way through Chapter 7 I am reminded that I need to thank you for the most gut wrenchingly humorous piece of writing I think that I have ever read. The very first time that I read this chapter my wife thought that I was going to have a heart attack because I was laughing so hard that I was gasping for breath.
Even now knowing exactly what I will encounter in the story, I find myself again laughing so hard and so long that I have trouble breathing.
The pictures painted in my mind by your prose are priceless.
I hope that no one ever discovers what the secret ingredient was. If they do the world would no longer be safe!

I sometimes have to wonder about the funny, but the gutwrenching part is undeniable. But where else did you ever read a first-time sex scene like that?
