Over shadow her most recent character, Marianne Pearl?
Angie opens about her life, her private relationship with Brad and her children in some magazine.
Amazes me how they choose to promote the movies they are in. Especially a true story. How sad that Angie's personal success with Brad Pitt and her private life overshadows that of Daniel and his family.
I seriously think in interviews to promote Brad's movie, she should of stayed focused on the character she was portraying. Considering she is playing a real person and not some video arcade hero.
Baffles me a great deal in the manner that they are promoting her for this movie. Even her photo shoot doesn't fit with movie. Floors me they would use any kinda sex appeal to promote this one with the serious nature of the film and the very fact that it is a true story about someones life.
I feel sorry for Marianne Pearl because I think she deserves better then to be overshadowed by the likes of Angelina Jolie and her longing to be a legend.
It almost appears that Angie believes she lived Marianne's trama and survived it. It is great if she fell into character with such impact but she should keep her feet on the ground and realize, it isn't about her, it is about Daniel Pearl and his memory. It's like she can't help but try to take some of that light for herself just because she played a character in the movie.
Maybe they guide her what to say but for the life of me, I could never figure out why she would focus on her own life so much in the interviews.
