Gina, the sad reality of it is that when they the celebrities DO try to defend themselves, they are the ones who end up being sued by the paps!!! How many times do we hear about someone shoving a papparazzi or breaking their camera? And the celeb is the one that ends up in a heap of trouble for it. It's a lose lose situation. There's this show on Fox late at night, TMZ (from the website TMZ.com), it's basically a bunch of stalkerrazzi sitting around talking about the celebrities they ran into that day and then showing clips. It's absolutely ridiculous the things they do to get a star's attention. I saw that show once and it just about made me puke. There really should be harsher laws about this sort of thing
