Recently,I found many photoes about GuanQi who is miss world 2003----2nd runner-up.I am surprise that she is very beautiful and fashionable in this photoes.I remembered that I was disappointed GuanQi's hair style and evening gown when she competed in miss world 2003.

Probably it was her facial beauty that she lost in? 2- Darn, I think the mc mixed her up with the actual winner. She should of won! If you have noticed, when announing top 5, Bangkok was hoping she would win. Too bad she couldn't speak cantonese, if she could, I bet-you that she would be the most beautiful MCI ever and Actress. I am all over this beautiful almost Miss Thiland World! 3- Seemed fake. Not much comment except nice looking and good madarin she had! 4- She's overall okay. Hmmmm.......she had a nice figure I guess. She was pretty I got to admit! 5- Her interview wasn't that great for me, probably b/c i study oversea and don't understand hk standard. she didn't look good but she had a nice figure. Hmmmmmm.........i can't say she was intelligent but she is still my favourite even through her peformance went okay! GO RACHEL! 6- Tall Girl! I kinda enjoyed her tall-ness! 7- I love this lil person! Lovely face! 18- She was a nice contestant not to metion mature 19- I love her! Haha.....she is so sincere actually..... 20- If she picked that thing the another top 5 picked, I was gonna....! Anyways, she had an okay performance. nice figure, althrough i though she was placed too high! Awards presented by me: Winner: Annie Wang. Very well rounded and represent Vancouver very well. Had a great interview and did a good performance. Perhaves, ppl would have thought that MCI was rigged always giving 1st place to Vancouver. 1st runner: Bangkok, she tried her best and had a nice face and figure. She would have done very well if the show was better and the translater would talk more! Still sour that she lost! 2nd runner up- Diana Wu! She lacked in height but her beauty followed me! She was intelligent and very cute that night. Her placement was well deserved! Way to go for Toronto! 4th time in top 3! Top 5- 7- her interview was okay, if she had a interview that requires talking, I would have liked her more. Overall, she was very cute and looked sincere. her height isn't a problem. Probably she lacked in beauty? I dunno about brains but if she could tone herself up, she would have done great! 5- Interview was somehow okay but probably had the spark! just wondering, since i'm kinna new here. why does some people say that? and if they do use money, how do they bribe the judges into doing that? but i notice hat some people who win in mci doesn't always get to have roles in series.

like last year's shirley zhou or something. is she doing any commercials or mag pics? but talk about bernice. because of her beauty (i think) she was able to have part in a series right away. but i can't say her acting is good. she's only a beginner.

besides, rumors have been said that sometimes the girls would sleep with the judges? that's horrible. what a disgrace! is that even true? because it sure sounds like it, i mean it's really reasonable. but why would you do that just to be in theentertainment zone, and you may not even be able to get into acting till later. i don't see vivan lau in any series and she's mhk 2000.

i don't know a lot about pageants so if someone could clearify it, it'd be great. entertainment is a really complicated thing, to me.

Who is the most successful Miss Chinese International so far?

Michele Reis Lee is extremely popular and probably the best MCI ever! She still looks great at...32??

Michelle Ye is annoying in my opinion but some how or another she gets all the acting/hosting jobs.

Christy Chung was very popular for awhile but I think her time has passed.

Sonya, I'm not sure what success she has achieved.

Can anyone think of anything else?

yea - i tend to agree . cant help but notice some of thye vicious ones eg pageant being fixed bcos of some tv stations or that the winner were not congratulated . Surely this is one of the best Miss Chinese International Pageants ever......with stunning delegates from all over the world,who's your favourites??
Here's mine,in random order

1)Miss Manila-she is so beautiful,thanks to her Korean mother,the best Miss Chinese Manila ever!!!

2)Miss Toronto-she is such a doll,i love her!

3)Miss Bangkok-another stunner,much better looking than Miss Chinese International 1994......

4)Miss Hong Kong-Tiff,Tiff...i like her MCI's official pic,although many do not agree with me.She has the looks!She is unique!

5)Miss Lima-the first from the South America continent,people doesn't like her much but in my opinion,if she compete in Miss Universe,she stands a chance to be one of the top 10 finalists.Simply striking....

6)Miss Kuala Lumpur-surely not to be missed in the top5,our very own Miss KL.She is such a surprise...but various of intensive training before the MCI helped her a lot.

This girl really wanted to win; I thought she deserved to win something. 2. Annie was the best choice for first place. I beg to differ to those who don't believe she has a chance for MCI. She has a great face, attitude and personality. 3. Spunky all night! A great performance. 4. One of the best looking delegates who was a bit nervous that night. 5. A tug-a-war for Miss Talent between Sarah and Olivia. She was very poised and elegant on stage. 6. She deserved all the awards she had received that night! I had her in top 3 without a doubt. She smiles naturally as she wants to, not as she has to. 7. I think she worked very hard and her performance was flawless. 8. Another bubbly, fun delegate. 9. I know I'll be accused as another one of the girls but- i'm a guy and let's just say, I was at a place the girls have come in frequent contact with and no "bad apples" stood out. (Definately no one bad enough to be called bitch). They all got along great.
