Subject: MCI PAGEANT WAS BIASED-my dear bebechica Author: 69 [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 00:18:46 01/29/03 Wed I watched the recorded repeat - The other contestants were shocked when annoucing the winners because Toronto and Vancouver did so much better and yet lose out to Ms HK - what did Ms HK do that stood out that night anyway. And its a joke by the media to say that it was a close call btwn Ms KL and HK - HK was so far apart in terms of the overall package . No- the KL's victory wasn't fixed -Malaysia's Rachael earned her victory -she left the judges with no other choice due to her stunning performance -the best in any MCI yet. What could be fixed is the 2nd placing - it should have gone to Toronto who was ahead. [> Subject: yea - i tend to agree . cant help but notice some of thye vicious ones eg pageant being fixed bcos of some tv stations or that the winner were not congratulated .
