The winner was contestant #1, Christie Bartram. A half-Chinese, half-Canadian stunner, she wowed the judges and the crowd at the gala show at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, telecast live across the country on Fairchild TV. The 17-year-old grade thirteen student will now represent Toronto at Miss Chinese International 2002 next month in Hong Kong.

The first runner-up was contestant #5, Francine Li, 20, and the second runner-up was contestant #10, Agnes Cheng, 17, who was also Miss Photogenic. Miyuki To, contestant #3, 19 years of age, won the Ambassador of Goodwill and Miss Friendship prizes. Jacqueline Loy, contestant #6, 22, won the Miss Perfect Figure prize.
