Looking "desperately" (I just really would like to see them) for tapes of Miss Chinese International 1999 and 2001, plus any Miss Chinese Toronto or Vancouver. Especially looking for Miss Chinese Toronto 2001, which I saw live but neglected to have someone tape for me.

Miss Chinese Toronto, Christie Bartram won the second award at the Miss Chinese International Pageant. The award was the SVELTE BEAUTY AWARD. The girls were remeasured and individually paraded down the cat walk, and apparently Miss Toronto weighed like 97 pounds or something. The judges and Bernice Liu judged the girls and declared Miss Toroto the winner. They said her beauty was unbeatable. Christie takes home $3000 USD for winning.

if you get the 4th and 5th semi finalist, they would be 2pts.
if you switched the order of them, you would get 1 pt. (for example: miss toronto finished in 1st, but on YOUR SCORECARD she finished 3rd, therefore u will get 1 pt ) ^^

Who are some of the stars that competed at MCI? I know in 1993 it was Christy Chung, Michele Lee was really from Miss HK but I guess you can count her which was in 1988(?). Bernice from last year, Michelle Ye from the year before...that's all I can think of. Who else??
Also, I wonder who will become a big star out of this year's pageant? I'd say Toronoto!

OK a lot of people are talking about competing in pageants on the other message board. Does anyone plan to participate in any pageants here? If so, which ones? Also, does anyone have any information on miss chinatown usa pageant? How to enter and what you have to do...???? It seems like a lot of winners are not often the best looking too?

WOW go to this site... Miss Toronto looks amazing in her bathing suit! What a body... such a pretty face and smile.... so much better than Hong Kong who is right above her in the pictures....
