Rick, I haven't been by or called, but that's what the site says. If you look under amenities, it pulls up a layout of the gym. They have an area for "MMA" with a cage (which they call octagon of course) and boxing with a ring.
It's tough to buy into the whole "MMA" thing without a description of the BJJ, MT, wrestling, etc. coaches and their experience/rank.
It seems like from a marketing point of view, they would advertise the training (for fun), not the "we'll make you an MMA fighter".
I have no ambitions to step into a ring or cage outside of training. I just love BJJ and MT.
I hope these gyms know what they are doing. I'd hate to see someone get built up just to find out the hard way that they don't know what they are getting into once they step into a competition.

-I agree. Unfortunately it will be the misinformed “fighter” who pays the price when it should be their over ambitious trainer.
-Apparently it’s just not MMA without an octagon!!
