Does anyone know anything about the guys over the crucible gym in Winston-Salem. It's like a Straight Blast affaliate or something.

John Kogas runs the gym. I haven't heard from him in a while, but I belive he is officialy affiliated with SBG. I know he was taking privates with the Singer brothers at one time. He is a good guy and is really open minded when it comes to training. Contact him and find out what's up.

Fell through? Doesn't Brent run a gym there?
Other than that, the only one I know of in Greensboro is Carr Karate. They have a shootfighting program. There are probably more groups, but I don't really know of any.
You might could run a google search for greensboro NC martial arts. That might turn something up for you.

I emailed extreme cardio and they told me that Brent wasn't teaching there anymore. I also emailed Team-ROC, but I haven't heard back yet. If I'm not mistaken, Mike Carr's not doing ShootFighting anymore. Oh Well, I'll keep looking.

its possible you emailed the wrong extreme cardio... there are two of them and the one he teaches at is near impossible to find even if you know where it is

We're in Winston-Salem, still. Our club was nearly shut down for a bit due to the landlord. That's been resolved.
We're not a MMA gym however. We're really in it for self defense, etc. That said, we use the MMA "model" for training purposes and we do follow the SBG's approach.
Crucible Gym?
