Dear Julie,
I always say that abortion is a PERMANENT answer to a TEMPORARY problem. That is, circumstances and worries of life, etc. are always there and always changing. However, deciding to do something that lasts a lifetime - well, that will never change and you can never take it back. At 16 that can be hard to imagine what it is really like. However, if you've maybe lost a loved one - like a grandparent or someone close, maybe you can understand that you miss them and you don't have them around, and you won't for as long as you live.
I can understand your fear about where you're going to live, etc. If indeed your parents ask you to leave, I know there are agencies out there that will house you & help you.
Please visit:

look up a pregnancy center near you and GO - they have lots of helpful information and people that will help you fins a place to stay if you need it. They will also help you work through your options.
You don't say what state you are in - but I'm pretty sure I can help you if there isn't a pregnancy center near you. So, don't hesitate to email me directly - Hopkinskc@aol.com
Know that there are serious risks you are taking if you did decide to get an abortion. Your baby son needs you around, and needs you healthy and whole in all aspects - so think of him too.
Most of all, hang in there, there are always "storms" in life and you will get through this.
Hugs, Kris
