Dear Nicky,
A fever does not go along with a pregnancy at all. If you have or had a virus, that can throw everything off. When you are 15, your body is still going through changes, and missing a period would not be all that unusual. If you're stressed, worried, sick, that can also throw things off and make you miss a period. Missing two periods is a little more unusual though, and you should go to get a pregnancy test. You can get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test at a pregnancy center-the ladies there are really nice and easy to talk to and they will help you and be there for you whatever the case may be. So, go to this web site and look one up near you:

You can also call them at:

I really do understand how scared you are. I was 17 when I found out I was unexpectedly pregnant and I was terrified. I went to Planned Parenthood and had an awful experience there, so I never want to direct girls to those places. They are only there to make money and they don't care about you.
Most importantly, talk to your mom or dad (whoever you feel closest too) and tell them you haven't been feeling well. This could all be something like mono or the flu and you may need to see your family Dr. Your parents love you and care about you and will want to help you feel better.
I'm glad to know you haven't gone all the way with your boyfriend, but you'd better be really careful - you can get pregnant if you're into some pretty heavy petting, etc. The best thing for you is abstinence - no sex - until you get married. It's the ONLY 100% effective b/c there is. You can check out this site also:

You can also email me or post again - hang in there and don't put this off.
Hugs, Kris
