Dear Ashley,

Call this toll free number - 1-800-395-HELP(4357) - they can direct you to a pregnancy center for a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test. The ladies there are SUPER nice, and helpful and can give you advice as well.

You can also look up a center near you at this web site:

http://www.optionline.org/

Anytime you have sex - even if you had used a condom or some kind of b/c - you are at risk of getting pregnant. The ONLY 100% effective b/c is abstinence.

I think you should talk to your mom or dad - they will be upset of course, but that's because they love you. You need their support and you should NOT go through this alone - it is a VERY scary thing - I know, because I was there when I was 17 and I didn't want to tell my parents at all. I finally told my Stepmom - and she understood more than I thought she would.

Try not to freak out too much either - as stress and worry can and will make your period late.

Your breasts changing could be from you just changing - your body is always changing and at 16 you are developing more in to a woman.

Please take good care of yourself, eat right, do some walking in the fresh air - and talk to a trusted parent or friend. Most of all - call the number or find the pregnancy center near you and GO!

Hugs, Kris
