Dear Anita,

First, try not to panic or worry - stress will make your period late and then you'll just be more worried. You don't say when your period is due - but if you were mid-cycle, that's about the time you ovulate and can conceive. It doesn't matter if you use protection or not - the only 100% effective b/c is abstinence, which is what I suggest you give serious consideration to for the future. If you are late - you can get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL pregnancy test at a pregnancy center. Look one up near you at this site:
