My Boyfriend and I have been together 6 months on the 14th and we are only 19yrs old. We had unprotected sex and he thinks he may have cam in me. I am on birth control but I am scared that I could be pregnant because my mom got pregnant on the birth control. What do I do?

Dear Nicole,

The only thing you can do right now is wait. If you miss your period by 3 days - 2 weeks, then take a test. You can get a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test at a pregnancy center. Look one up near you at this site:

www.optionline.org

They are staffed with caring women that can help you.

Try not to stress out too much or think about it too much - as you can actually skip a period just from stress and worry.

I also want to mention that the ONLY 100% effective b/c is abstinence. If you don't want to be worried every month, you really should put sex aside until you're ready for a baby.

I hope you are worrying for nothing though, and that you can focus on other things in life here soon.

Hugs,
Kris
