Dear CJ,

ANYTIME you have sex, you RISK pregnancy. Accurately predicting when a woman ovulates is not always easy - and sperm can survive for 3 or 4 days, so even if she wasn't ovulating, the sperm can hang around and wait for the ovum.

It's also important that you know that there is not a 100% effective b/c out there. The only 100% effective b/c is abstinence (not having sex).
