Dear "Thinkerbell" -
OK - first of all, if you haven't had regular periods for years, and Dr's are writing it off to "hormones" - you need to find different doctors! I don't know your medical history - what kind of b/c you may have used in the past, or medications you've been on - so I can only speculate - and it would be very important for you to give your entire medical history to a well qualified fertility doctor.
Second, you say you and your BOYFRIEND want to have a baby - and that you are 20 - so, I have to say this to you -
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!?"
You are so young, you are NOT married, bringing a baby into your life is a HUGE responsibility and you should be in a stable relationship with a committed man (married) before you throw a baby into the mix (IMHO).
Please put the baby thing on the back burner - focus on your health - make sure you're watching your diet, your weight, the amount of exercise you're getting (either too little or too much), if you & or your b/f smoke, QUIT, if you drink alcohol, QUIT, if you do rec. drugs, QUIT, surround yourself with HEALTHY people -
I'll also just ask you - what do you believe about God? A prayer life has proven to be extremely important to humans - so, finding a solid church and attending regularly would also be an important part of your overall health.
Set some goals for yourself - like getting a degree - be it GED or college - doing what you can to make this world a better place.
Hugs, Kris
