Dear Amanda.
There are many different b/c pills out anymore - I think the best thing to do, is to talk to the Dr. that prescribed the pills for you. I have a dear friend that got pregnant while on the pill. She had twins and then went back on the pill and a few months later was pregnant again. She had followed all the instructions carefully - so it was a shocker to them. They have a healthy baby girl now. Point is - no b/c is 100% effective - that is except for abstinence. You don't say how old you are, but I also worry about the long term health of a woman who takes hormone pills for years over her lifetime. I just think it's fooling too much with nature. Anyhow, call the Dr. for the answers to your questions is all I can say.
