They might recommend taking a test in a week or they might do some tests to make sure nothing else is wrong. Sometimes after starting or stopping certain birth controls this can happen. Sometimes after everything else is ruled out the doctor can give some pills (I don't remember what they are called) to jump start your period so they start. There can be false negatives - so you may want to re-test, and then ask your doctor what he/she thinks is going on. No one here could really tell you the right answer to that one. Hugs, Kris
