I think health may depend upon the type of drugs that you used. There are drugs that are more dangerous than others & cause different effects - but I am not an expert here.
What I do know is that a baby has an amazing wall of protection around it in the womb.
It would be important to find a good doctor & if I were you, I'd start with a pregnancy center and ask them for a referral to one - call 1-800-395-HELP or go to:
and look up one near you and call them directly - they should know of a doctor that can help answer your questions. They may also provide the funds you need to see that doctor. Just let them know what kind of help you need.

First of all congradulations on being wise enough to stop using drugs. It must have been a very hard thing to do. Keep it up!
Drug use may lower sperm count, but I don't know if it affects sperm in any other way. The best thing to do is call your doctor or nurse. My gut feeling tells me that the drugs are not passed through the sperm. But I'm not sure.
