I'm a 36 yr old mother of 2 teenagers. 8 weeks ago I had an abortion. My fiance and I had unprotected sex (shame on me!) and now I am pregnant again. I am 2 weeks pregnant. What are the chances that this baby will be healthy? I'm physically fit and I don't believe that is an issue. I'm worried that there could be something wrong with baby since I had an abortion so close to the pregnancy.

Yes, I do plan on keeping the baby. The timing is terrible and I'm setting a terrible example for my children, especially my 14 yr old daughter by being an unwed mother, but yes, I am going forward with having the baby.
Everything I've read and heard is that your pregnancy should be fine. You do need to see your OB/GYN and share your concerns, they can take a look with a sonogram to make sure things are fine - but as long as you're healthy, and feel well, you & your baby should be OK.
So many moms these days are single - it doesn't have the stigmas it used to have. Enjoy the pregnancy, and take good care of yourself and may all go well with you!
