Matt Dalton has just signed a contract with the Boston Bruins organization, and has given up his last two years of eligibility at BSU. I don't know the details of the signing (money or where he will play), but congratulations to Matt. I still remember his first collegiate game (in St. Cloud) where he gave up four goals in the first and got pulled.

Boy, he's come a long way since then!

I would expect a "formal" announcement from either Boston or BSU after Bruins playoff run is over.

I'm not sure what the AHL rules are, but Boston's affiliate in Providence is in the playoffs. They already have four goalies on the roster, though, so I'm not sure anything would (or could) happen in the AHL this season from Matt.
