No, Dallas assigned him to Houston once Idaho was eliminated from the ECHL playoffs. Dallas does not have an AHL team this year, so they have a working agreement with several AHL teams for their players.

He has only played in "mop-up" roles, but has not given up a goal while in net with Houston.

Dallas will have an AHL team next year in Texas. I cannot remember for sure where it will be located, but for some reason the Fort Worth area or Austin seem to stick in my mind.
