Varmet is a well rounded guy. Lives in the country where it never freezes, is a rodeo cowboy, computer nerd, will rope a calf to put in the trailer rather than putting the herd in the lot and then fly to the mountains to go fishin' for trout. I just got back from Chihuahua to see the PBR. Was actually on the plane with Joe Baumbartner & about 15 of the bull riders. Didn't make pictures. -- RODEO RAMBLINGS

    - I keep tellin' you folks that Texans love to be hated. It sets us apart. We are the only state that has the right do divide into several smaller states. We own our own coastal waters. We have the right to fly our flag at an equal height witht he US flag and our State Capitol is TALLER than the US Capitol. We refine more gasoline than all the states West of the Mississippi use. If you live in Orange, Texarkana, Amarilla or El Paso, you life closer to 4 other state capitols than you do your own. If you are in Texarkana you are only 50 miles further from Chicago than you are El Paso. The Big Thicket is one of the biggest swamps. The Permian Basin is one of the biggest deserts.
