I see you New Mexicans have a new guy to root for. Spud Jones in the bull riding, won Denver. Thought I read somewhere that he is full blooded Navajo. Am curious how he got that name.

There were guys on PBS giving Charles heck for Steve's NFR videos. It's time for rodeo to take a stand and not tuck tail. I've seen Spud but don't know him. Not long ago he was on TV when he won a CBR. He graduated from high school two years ago and had qualified for the high school nationals in the saddle bronc riding but didn't get to go because he broke his leg, I believe riding bulls.
