hi...i have gastroschesis...i was reading posts about them from like...8 years ago lol i know im just a little late but i just found it...im 19 and i have a pretty bad scar and when they sewed me up my mom made them put a "belly-button" on me...i put it in quotes b/c to me it does not look like a belly button should but that's what i was given so i deal with it...but i have never been afraid to wear a two piece just like all the other girls i grew up with...i always flaunted my scar and was proud of it so just let your daughters know it's nothing to be ashamed of...tell them to be blessed that God gave them a chance at life...they were kept here on earth for a reason, that's always my motivation in life, if i was meant to not be here God would have taken me 19 years ago...it's all about living life to it's fullest...enjoy it!!
