My 14 year old son has dispraxia. his words were very jumbled till he was about six although he had speech therapy from 2 and half. It is now that i notice more his condition as he is very inmature for his age, clumpys, anti social on occasions (although he does have friends)and very emotional and inscure.josh is doing extremely well at school with A's in all four core subjects. Maths and science being his favourite. He however does not cope if he sees someone cry in his family and will cry too, he dislike his home being sad or angry and will try to stop it happening if he thinks something is a miss. He is very loud when trying to talk with his family and friends.he fines going to sleep extremely hard and sometimes wakes in the night with night mares. He is very inscure and forever kissing me (mum) and telling me he loves me. Which in turn i reassure him by kissing him and cuddling him back. He still gets very excited about certain things and obsessive with certain things. (computer,Leggo etc).Josh is a wonderful child to have and I feel very privledged to call him mine. He is very helpful and obliging he has never thrown a tantrum or caused any problems so far.
