I was told I was an over anxious mother, as my daughter was classed as being gifted and I compared my son to her, this was not the case. I faught day in and day out for some one to tell me what the problem was. I started writing letters to people in authourity, that was when I got noticed and people had to start listening to the problems my son had and take responsibility for there lack of understanding, these were professionals that had missed all the symptons. I caused a lot of people to look at there own training. I have got all the help I need for my son because of this and support from the authorities to provide the care he needs both at school and at home. He deservse everythng and he will not suffer because of ignorance.
