Rendering with "Make movie" to tape (DC10+) -- DC10+ to DC30+ Patches

Subject: Rendering with "Make movie" to tape (DC10+)

I have Studio-10plus v.7.11. Is rendering after clicking on "Make Movie" a _very_ slow process? With me, it seems to stop completely about one third way through an 800MB film. If this isn't normal, has anyone any idea where the problem is? My set-up has 128MB RAM, 60 GB hard disk and processor speed of 1.7 GHz. Hope you can help.
