 D. Bass, b. ca 1802 TN and his son Gilford (G. W.), age 11, appear on the 1850 Weakley Co., TN Census in district 7 near present day Dresden. Two Nancys, ages 21 & 26, and a Mary, age 28, also appear in this family unit. Other children listed are: James, 8; Elizabeth, 5; Emily, 3; and Alfred, 1. Who was D. Bass married to and who was Gilford's mother? Also, wondering who David's parents and siblings were and where he was prior to his appearance in Weakley Co., TN. in 1850. Does anyone out there have a connection to this family? Any info appreciated.
