Subject: Misconceptions About TV Soap Operas

I realize this is a little off topic, but what the hell, I felt like having a little fun. I've talked to many people in soap chats, email groups, Instant Messages (Gotta love AOL);
and I think we can all agree that, while fantasy and fun are all well and good, there are a few misconceptions about soap viewing that must be dealt with. Just a few off the top of my head:

1.) No matter how close you get to the TV, or how high up you are, you can NOT see down a woman's shirt.
The opposite is true for a man; no matter how close you get to the TV, or how far down you duck, you can NOT see up his boxers. Stop trying, you just look silly. They're watching you, you know....

2.) Calories consumed eating bon-bons while watching OLTL DO count. Sweating profusely, hyperventilating, passing out, and drooling are NOT effective methods of burning calories.

3.) You can buy the lingerie; you can get the music; you can use the very SAME candles that they do on OLTL; a night of passion will NEVER last as long in real life as it does on the soaps. (Unless of course there's both Viagra AND Cryptonite in the wine)...

OK, anyone have anything to add to this list? LOL
