 I think that the acceptance is largely due to the location. In spite of the "death" of the cigar craze of the 90's, there are still a number of establishments that cater to the cigar crowd. I think that cigar smokers there, are appreciated regardless of gender. There are other places that allow smoking but frown on cigars. A woman smoking cigars is still a little "on the edge" and I am please that so many woman still enjoy the pleasures of cigars. Everyone has their own comfort level.
