Subject: Remember Jesus

The baby Jesus was born one night
in a manger below a star shining bright.
Amidst the animals Mary gave birth
to a saviour born to all the earth.

Wise men brought him myrrh, frankincense, and gold,
since he was the King that had been foretold.
They bowed down to worship the new little one,
for he was the Christ child, God’s only Son.

Shepherds saw his star way up in the sky,
and were told of Jesus by angels on high.
When we celebrate Christmas the earth throughout –
let us remember Jesus, whom Christmas is about.
