She spied her answer on the wings of a sparrow.
For its flight was one of liberty.
The road before her appeared so narrow.
A line between her freedom or loyalty.

Majestic towers rose into the sky.
Dim despair nipped within her soul.
To dwell on the storm drawing nigh.
Was to let him gain final control..

Know the wise choose which path to trod.
Even angels seek the simpler way.
Whether the road be by man or God.
In wisdom do we choose the path to stay.
