To Dad On St. Patrick's Day

I remember when I was young and coming to the kitchen
to have breakfast with my Dad. He looked funny one
morning and as I looked at him, his mustache was green.
I laughed and said "Daddy why is your mustache green"?

He said to me "sweetie it is St Patrick's Day
and green is the Irish color". Many years passed but all those
holidays he would have his green mustache. Then one day when
I was older in my teens, I noticed that his beer was also green.
He always had a way of making me laugh.

He is no longer with me today, but I still remember all the good times.
So today, on this St Patrick's Day, I salute to him with
a glass of green wine. "To you Daddy, the love of my life"!
