The tortured Mind

It's evident that life has scarred him far
beyond all hope of peace,


His rancor drips like poison and his words
bite deeply as they sink into our hearts,
He's blind to beauty, deaf to chirping birds
that call in morning calm when the night bleeds
into day.

He does not know how to love, or be loved.
Lust is the only virtue he has managed
to perfect. The sound of closing doors
is becoming more familiar every day he lives.

He eats to live, and his money is dwindling
because of his inability to accept the fact that
others have the right to better jobs than he...
his jealousy is so profound that you can almost
see it flowing from his pores.

Poor, ignorant man...will you ever see yourself
for what you are...one of the biggest mistakes
of the universe....I don't think so!
