The light glares into my dark room
You can see the notes begin to fly.
The music so soft, so sweet
Mozart himself is tapping his feet.
Writing pen to paper with such a high.
Ah, the artist’s mind in bloom!

These are not mere scribbles or words
More then a simple note or tone
This is true emotion
The writer’s greatest notion
What is best is that it’s the writer own
Sung by the mouths of sweet birds.

A story beyond a story
A fantasy of more then just romance
An adventure with more then just heroes
A dream dreamt by even the zeroes.
Writing it down my mind can dance
An ending beyond achieved hopes and glory

Fantastic symphonies dance before my eyes
what I have seen and heard in my mind.
I project to the greater universe
the meanings, the rhythms of my inner verse.
A new Renaissance for all mankind
The sound floats throughout the open skies.

The light still shining in my room
The calm of night eases the tune
The music so complex, so grand
I write my name in the sky with my hand
As my eyes look upon the moon
Ah! The artist’s mind in bloom!
