Twilight Blue

When amber turns to twilight blue
my thoughts go back to memories of you.
Walks by the sea, hand in hand,
feeling the softness of cool wet sand.

Caught up like the waves crashing to shore
loving words spoken, longing for more.
The gentle sea breeze passing through our hair
taking with it all, things so unfair.

Two lovers embracing in a world of their own,
lost in lover's bliss, the outcome unknown.
Nights filled with such sweet passion
days of laughter and sunshine, loves compassion.

When I feel sad as the dark black skies
my thoughts go back, no memory dies.
When amber turns to twilight blue,
I'll be thinking of our love, saying thank you.
