Subject: Getting help from local Union 743

I had a perfect work record at the University of Chicago Hospital. I made an error in judgement and clock in an employee who said she was in the building but was sick. She was later sent home for the illness. This has happened before. I feel my union didn't help me. I didn't know this was a an offense I could've gotten fired for. I'm the one who walk in to clear this up. I started my job before I clocked in. I helped those in the halls who seemed to be lost. I was 40 minutes early every day, management knew this. I took me 3 buses to get to work. Why would I clock in someone who was just late. I need help I belong working at the hospital I was good for them.
