Hello all!

I am a little late getting into the VH1 converstation...I didn't see it...I am sorry I missed it! However, I can fully understand why she left the industry...me not having been in the industry at all, however, I understand the lack of integrity in ALL jobs! I admire her for that! She is the persona she portrayed every Saturday morning that I got up extra early to watch..she reinforced values that I was being raised with even then... and those values have never left me.

I admit to donning a brooch and and towel and running around and jumping off ..well..trying to save someone!!

I am a 43 year old woman that has been a fan of Joanna's for YEEEEARSSS~ she was my first crush, actually! She inspired me in many ways and I very much look up to her.

Most importantly, she was true to her craft and stuck by her instincts and DID not give into the "ole boy network," which was very prevalent in the 70's and in some ways...still is today.

So, to my very first crush in life... YOU ARE THE BEST AND THANK YOU FOR THE GUIDANCE!!!!!! never forgotten!!

Much love,
KP
