I'm very happy to have found this thread to provide some background and context to the glaring omission of Joanna from any of the DVD's special features.

While I sympathize with Joanna to some extent - everyone would prefer to be compensated for lending their time and talent to a project like this - here's the problem. Isis DVD sets are not like buses - there won't be another one coming along next month or next year. Outside of the slight possibility of a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD set at some point in the future (and given the quality of the masters, what would be the point?) the BCI set is all we're ever going to get. If her absence from the set was a result of some sort of booking/logistics confusion, that is inexcusable. However, I doubt this is the case since everyone else was able to participate. So, it most likely came down to money, or the lack of it. And once the situation was made plain that the funds just weren't there, Ms. Cameron was faced with a decision - to give the fans who have supported her for three decades the gift of her involvement, and to take this one opportunity (cause one's all we're going to get) to share her memories of her most famous role, or to say "No, thank you."
I don't mean to chastise her - several years ago I had the pleasure of speaking to Joanna and to Lou Scheimer regarding a project that never came to fruition, and enjoyed the experience very much. But to get to this point that so many of us never thought we'd see, of a complete Isis series set available on DVD, and for it to happen without the inclusion of the one person more responsible than anyone else for the series' success and enduring popularity...I just find that profoundly sad.
