I'm almost 100% sure that it is NOT Firth. First off, Firth is British, and it's very unlikely he would've been in the United States working at the age of 15. Most (if not all) of the kids playing students were well over 18 and into their 20s.

Secondly, Firth doesn't have any acting credits listed before the 1980s, suggesting he didn't break into screen acting until after he'd finished with his studies.
