I have had lingering thoughts about this show off and on for decades, but could never remember the name or anything useful enough by which to search on the internet, until I got creative tonight with a search for 70's saturday morning shows. During that search I saw the name Ark II and immediately knew that this was it.

I have got to get the dvds; this is one part of my childhood I don't mind repeating.
